Peter, these two are for you… How many times did you control QXP in your career?? She’s still flying at the Club, as is NOP, but I couldn’t find the photo.
This was a hot summer day last July when Roger, Ellen and I went flying. It’s been a long time since Roger flew and did circuits, and I think we were in FVS if I’m not mistaken. It brought back lots of memories of the Club and the airport when we were all there back in the late ’70s. (Now wasn’t Brenda the youngest female pilot at one time?)
I can’t help but think of the weather office, Mike, and helium… ‘Nuff said. It’s not the same around there without Pale.
The other shot here is lush Niagara farmland at the height of summer, just adjacent to the lake. Peter, being the professional photographer you should have come up with us!

Ha……that did bring back memories Ros….funny, I was just the other day thinking of the time Roger and I were flying, and he turned the fuel off on me, and I thought I was going to have to land on the Welland canal….it was January! And yes, Brenda did solo on her 16th birthday…many happy memories!! Glad you all got up again…..

The day the fuel was shut off… You swearing and looking a bit pale, and Roger (with shades on) getting out of the plane laughing. I think you got him back when you were safely back in the tower and he was going back up again…
